Project Delivery Through a Documented Procurement Path

This page is the path from a complete load questionnaire to weather seal. It is not an environmental report and it does not rate the company against a carbon target. The work product is a pre-engineered building (PEB) file: design basis, production record, packing list and installation hold points.

Desk measures used to run a job

The dashboard lists the evidence required for each stage of coordination. We track whether the buyer has supplied load, geometry, installation and destination data before issuing a common request to candidate suppliers.

Brief ready

A supplier comparison starts when wind, snow, seismic, crane and geometry inputs have been recorded. A hangar quote without door weight and opening conditions remains provisional.

Q355 / S355

Main frame grades written on the release. Secondary purlin and girt lines may be cold-formed steel (CFS) with a stated galvanized coating mass. The two grades are not interchangeable on the cutting list.

Bolted members are nested to the box the buyer named. If the heaviest lift exceeds the site crane, the splice moves, even when the model was already stable. Shop-welded assemblies reduce field fit-up but may require a different freight method and a larger lift.

For a wide clear-span hall, a panelized portal frame ships as individual members. A finished volumetric module must fit the route envelope and site lift plan. Foam cores (EPS sandwich panel or PIR sandwich panel) stay in the comparison with rock wool until the fire resistance rating is a tested wall in minutes, joints included. A temporary camp classification and a permanent permit are both written down; the delivery sequence does not erase either duty.

Nothing in this list is a public blank certificate. Each item is prepared after the freeze and marked available on request.

A supplier quote should name the steel grade, connection strategy, coating scope, panel build-up, packing method and inspection records. We flag omissions for clarification before a buyer compares prices.

Path the coordinator actually walks

  1. Step A · Inquiry

    Country, use and the port

    Quantity, plan size, storeys, interior scope and the discharge port are logged with the date. Teaching and hangar briefs require separate eave and opening dimensions.

  2. Step B · Freeze

    Loads and the foundation interface

    Design wind speed, snow, seismic input and anchor projection are locked together. Moment-resisting frame connections are identified as welded or bolted before steel is cut. Thermal bridge notes at openings are sketched if a U-value target is in the brief.

  3. Step C · Production

    Marks, welds, coating

    The selected supplier must show how the approved model maps to production marks and the coating schedule. Intumescent protection requires a project fire strategy and verified application thickness; light-gauge steel infill must be distinguished from the primary frame.

  4. Step D · Pack

    Boxes matched to the crane

    The container loading plan is checked against piece length and the site pick weight. Dunnage and mark lists travel in the same envelope as the bill of lading reference.

  5. Step E · Install

    Sequence, then seal

    Temporary bracing, bolt-up and grout precede the wall. MEP preinstallation is whatever sleeve was on the model. Late ducts wait for a revision. Handover records open items, owners and sign-off criteria.

Limits on this path: timing cannot be committed before door, crane and supplier capacity data are confirmed; a panel brochure is not the fire rating of the opening; ISO 9001 does not approve the structure; and a design prepared for one seismic design category is not reused in another country without a new check.
